ThompsonSingapore Telecommunications (STEL.SI) said on Friday it will begin selling the HTC Dream, or Google mobile phone, in Singapore from Feb. 21, making it the second market in Asia to see their launch.

The HTC phone is better known as the Google (GOOG.O) phone because it comes preloaded with software such as Google Web Search, Gmail and Google Calendar. SingTel will also offer subscribers video-on-demand via the new phones.

SingTel, which owns Australia’s Optus as well as stakes in several regional mobile phone operators, will sell the Google phone for S$38 ($24.72) to customers who agree to take up the most expensive subscription package of S$95 a month.

SingTel launched the phone in Australia earlier this month.
